Abhijit heads Insitor’s operations in India, including sourcing and closing transactions and managing them through their life cycle. Given Insitor’s growing portfolio in India, Abhijit also spends significant amounts of time with existing investees to aid their growth. Abhijit comes with significant experience in the social impact space, with stints at the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and Dalberg Global Advisors. Prior to that, he spent several years in growth private equity, at Deutsche Bank’s alternative investments arm and ICICI Venture, among India’s largest private equity firms. Abhijit received an MBA at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and holds undergraduate degrees in Economics from Delhi University and Jazz Composition from the Berklee College of Music.
Arthur joined Insitor in the Phnom Penh, Cambodia office, in 2015. Prior to joining Insitor, Arthur worked as an investment officer for four years at Blue Orchard Finance, a commercial microfinance debt investment manager. During his time in BlueOrchard's Phnom Penh office, Arthur led and closed debt transactions totaling over USD 30 million with microfinance institutions in Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, East Timor, and Mongolia. He started his career in London as a sell-side equity analyst. Arthur holds a master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne.
Arunima joined Insitor Management as an Investment Analyst in 2018. At Insitor, she is responsible for managing and evaluating the deal flow. Prior to this, she worked with Unitus Ventures, looking at Fintech and Agri-tech sectors. Before Unitus, she handled business expansion at Cuemath, an ed-tech start-up based in Bengaluru. Apart from this, she volunteers at Koshish, an NGO working in education space for underprivileged children. Arunima holds an Economics degree from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
