Mera Gao Power (MGP) installs and operates ultra low-cost solar micro-grids in rural villages in Uttar Pradesh, India.
MGP’s facilities generate electricity through centrally located solar panels and distribute electricity across villages to customers’ homes.
The grids provide 6-hours of power at night for lighting and phone charging at a price of INR 25 / week.
