HROne Raises $4m in Seed Funding in Round Led by Insitor Partners

Investment will be used to further penetration in existing markets and expand to new ones

Noida, India (October 10th, 2022) - HROne, a human resources (HR) tech firm, has completed a seed funding round of $4m led by Insitor Partners, an impact investment fund backing entrepreneurs who build life-changing solutions for low-income consumers in developing Asia.

HROne's cloud-based HR platform automates over 80 processes, simplifying HR operations and driving a top-notch user experience for HR professionals and employees. The company has bootstrapped over the past three years to currently serve more than 900 clients.

There are more than 250 million non-agricultural blue collar workers across India. These workers, despite forming a large part of the total workforce, still face a number of challenges due to the disorganized and informal nature of workforce practices: tardy and inaccurate salary payments, inadequate grievance redress mechanisms, a lack of access to health and financial products, and limited upskilling opportunities.

By selling their platform solution directly to companies, HROne utilizes a unique channel to generate social impact and positively affect the blue-collar landscape at a large scale.

“HROne is leveraging technology to drive a transformational impact on the formalization of the Indian blue collar economy. The startup improves well-being, loyalty, and productivity of the workforce in the most capital-efficient, scalable, and sustainable way while helping organizations in their productivity and efficiency improvements,” said Nicholas Lazos, co-founder and CIO of Insitor Partners.
